Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Job Responsibilities

1. Source potential suppliers and conduct initial screening, including qualifications, capacity, certifications, customer references, and financial risk information.
2. Initiate RFQs and compile quotations, cost breakdowns, lead times, MOQs, payment terms, and commercial comparison tables.
3. Support new supplier onboarding, including follow-up on NDAs, contracts, samples, audits, and AVL setup.
4. Maintain commodity databases, historical pricing, benchmarks, and supplier scorecards.
5. Support annual cost-reduction initiatives, localization projects, and second-source development.
6. Experience with mechanical parts and packaging materials is preferred; electronic components experience is an added advantage.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2. 2-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development.
3. Experience in electronics manufacturing or mechanical/electronic parts supply chains is preferred.
4. Good analytical capability, basic negotiation skills, attention to detail, and strong learning agility.
5. Familiar with SAP/ERP/MRP and Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; Power BI knowledge is preferred, and basic SQL skills are an added advantage.
