We are looking for an experienced Superintendent to join Unisem. You will oversee supervisors and operators, drive team performance, and ensure smooth coordination across departments. This role combines leadership with hands-on problem solving — from guiding daily tasks and enforcing discipline to troubl eshooting equipment and improving processes. With strong communication, planning, and supervisory skills, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a motivated and high-performing workforce.

Job Responsibilities: · Supervision & Leadership

• Guide and direct supervisors/subordinates in daily tasks.
• Monitor performance and enforce discipline.
• Motivate teams and provide counselling for poor performance.
• Train and coach new supervisors/operators.

· Communication & Coordination

• Communicate with supervisors, subordinates, and cross-functional teams.
• Conduct line or shift briefings and share information.
• Coordinate resources, manpower, and material movement to support operations.

· Process, Technical & Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot equipment and interpret technical drawings.
• Apply analytical tools (SPC, Why-Why analysis, Kaizen, Poka Yoke, OCAP).
• Support equipment or line improvement activities.
• Review and enhance SOPs, processes, and product setups.
• Collaborate with engineering/maintenance teams on problem -solving and improvement

projects.

• Contribute to quality control and ensure adherence to standards.

· Administrative & System Duties

• Approve attendance and manage shift schedules.
• Take action on discipline matrix violations.
• Access and utilize systems (MES, MMS, SPC, etc.).
• Prepare reports, requisitions, and documentation as required.

· Other Assigned Duties

• Perform additional tasks or projects assigned by superiors.
• Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or

related disciplines.

• Working experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
• Experience in similar supervisory responsibilities is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, planning and problem -solving skills, leadership and

supervisory ability.

• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MES/MMS/SPC systems).
• Able to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Able to work at Simpang Pulai / Gopeng, Perak.
