Job Description
Job Purpose
Conduct breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement project to overall NGC premises.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects across NGC premises (production, QA, warehouse, compounding).
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to drive efficiency, productivity, and teamwork.
- Plan and execute annual maintenance schedules, delivering tasks on time with minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and modify machines and equipment to maintain high reliability.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and government officers on projects, audits, and improvement activities.
- Monitor and control expenditure to remain within budget allocations.
- Drive improvement of overall equipment efficiency (OEE) and implement innovative solutions to reduce frequent breakdowns.
- Enforce safe work practices, including strict application of LOTO and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and records (checklists, reports, ISO compliance files) for audits and operational tracking.
- Rectify customer complaints, provide feedback to superiors, and submit accurate daily reports.
Qualification and Experience
- Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2.Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Have supervisory experiences
- Preferably with working experience in glove manufacturing or similar industry
