Supervisor, Routine Maintenance (Civil) (Pedas, Negeri Sembilan)

Summary

The Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance workers, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. To prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Daily inspection on site base on SIC daily reports (civil & traffic safety) and responsible for any repair & replacement (RR) works to follow as requested by client (PLUS).

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administering the scope of work on routine maintenance assigned to him by the Section Manager (SM).
• Assist in planning, organizing, and administering the section’s staff and subcontractors to ensure the smooth running of maintenance operations.
• Responsible for supervising, evaluating, and verifying all subcontract works carried out on-site.
• Manage and verify the repair and replacement works carried out by subcontractors.
• Assist in verifying the work program on routine maintenance work submitted by the subcontractors before the submission and approval from the client.
• Prepare and recommend to the SM the daily progress report, weekly subcontractors performance, and any other reports relating to maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements on site.
• Undertake any other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned, instructed, and directed by immediate superior.
• Act on any emergency work requested by SM, and Regional Manager (RH).
• On standby at any time for any possibility happening at the section

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in the construction or maintenance industry (highway/road maintenance, building, and/or bridge)
• Knowledgeable in MMA (Maintenance Management Agreement)
