Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Work directly with the Standard and Fab parts suppliers on the corrective action plan for quality issues Work on Supplier Qualifications (1st Article Inspection) and review supplier's manufacturing process yield Liaise with R&D and manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for suppliers' improvement Conduct suppliers' audits & review the suppliers' performance metrics or scorecards Drive Supplier's Quality Improvement Project to enhance the detection gate at the supplier's side

Key qualifications

Background in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics) or equivalent Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Supplier Quality, Product Quality or equivalent Knowledge in standard and fabrication part Good knowledge of the 8D problem-solving approach Experience in handling supplier quality improvement projects Ability to communicate and drive supplier quality to meet the state objectives
