Job Summary
As System Administrator, you are responsible to plan, implement and maintain system infrastructure and related projects as well as providing level 2/3 support on the day-to-day operations and ensuring system infrastructure which includes servers, storage, backup and security are in stable performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer and manage both on-premise and cloud-based servers to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Cybersecurity support: Monitor, analyze, and respond to real-time alerts from Security Operation Center (SOC) and Endpoint Security Systems.
- Respond to and resolve requests and issues assigned through the ticketing system, ensuring compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Proactively monitor the performance, manage and maintain data center facility, server, storage, backup and system security.
- Update and document SOP, best practices, detailed system infrastructure design, configurations and other related documentation.
- Ensure the security of the system infrastructure by implementing industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance that is in line with IT security policy.
- Provide after-hours support for infrastructure-related emergencies as well as maintenance.
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- Assist with vendor evaluation, recommendation and negotiations.
- Manage vendors and ensure services delivered meet management policies to ensure awareness.
- Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the system infrastructure.
- Collaborating with other departments to support the organization’s cybersecurity framework.
- Any other duty & responsibility which the company may assign from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related area) preferred.
- Open for fresh graduated.
- Professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience with server administration, endpoint security and cloud technology preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.
- Enthusiasm for continual learning, as well as being able to contribute to team development.
- Team player who can perform under pressure and tight deadline.
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, Server Virtualization, DNS, Backup, Storage, Endpoint Security Suite and etc.
