We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Assistant 1 to join our team at Fraser & Neave (F&N) in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time position will play a vital role in supporting our Electrical/Electronic Engineering operations and contribute to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• General Machine cleaning & servicing - maintain good housekeeping of withdrawn machines & machines under repair.
• Machine installation/ withdrawal, repair/ maintenance & refurbishment.
• Machine trouble shooting & rectify problems; re-conditioning machines.
• Perform general servicin - PMQA & sanitation.
• Re-branding of equipment.
• Joget System Management : Ticket monitoring, scanning, updating status, closing tickets.
• Cooler Handling : Preparation, return monitoring, sorting by repair status.
• Vendor coordination : Gate pass handover, photo updated, RFD cooler collection.
• Asset Disposal (eFAD): Photo documentation, Evaluation form & asset list.
• Documentation & Filling : Dockets, photos, agreements.
• Housekeeping & Inventory : Cleaning and physical counts.
• Perform other tasks as & when deemed necessary by Assistant Manager, Sales Support.
• Providing technical assistance and support to the engineering team
• Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment
• Assisting in the installation, testing and commissioning of new equipment
• Documenting work activities and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• Certificate / Diploma in Technical field - Electrical/Electronic/ Mechanical.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• If without academic qualification, must have 5 to 7 years of working experience able to fulfill / perform technician 2 job specification.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in the use of tools and test equipment.
• Must be computer literate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under pressure.
