Technical Officer / Technician (Earthworks Surveillance & Patrolling)

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain knowledge of transmission cable locations and high-risk sites within the assigned route or zone.
- Respond to all Earthworks Contractor enquiries for his assigned route/ zone.
- Consolidate the list of high risk sites weekly and constantly monitor the earthwork progress of the contractors.
- Process Notice of Commencement of Earthworks (NCE), conduct site meeting, advice and issue Letter of Requirements to contractor
- Patrol transmission cable routes to ensure that preventive measures to cables are in place and that contractor complies with the Letter of Requirements.
- Complete site check report when carry out site visit via Cable & Gas Pipes (CGP) Mobile Application.
- Ensure contractors have consulted SP PowerGrid (SPPG) for high risk sites
- Prepare Infringement Case File for submission to Energy Market Authority (EMA)
- Perform Electricity Service Centre (ESC) standby duty to attend to cable/ gas pipe damage
What You’ll Need:
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering / related discipline from recognized Polytechnics in Singapore
- Possess a personal vehicle and able to use for work purpose
- Possess skills in project planning, execution, and management
- Good grasp of using Microsoft applications, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team and in a challenging environment
