Technical Support Engineer (Cloud)

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled Technical Support Engineer (Cloud) to support our infrastructure operations for a key client in the telecommunications industry. This role is a contractual position where you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure under a 7x24 shift rotation system.

Responsibilities

1. Adapt to a 7x24 shift rotation system, including holiday coverage, with the ability to provide rapid on-site incident response within 30 minutes.
2. Manage and configure core Alibaba Cloud products (ECS, RDS, SLB, Redis, OSS); oversee cloud resource monitoring, autoscaling, troubleshooting, and cost optimization.
3. Maintain Linux environments (CentOS/Ubuntu), develop Shell scripts for automation, and manage Docker containerization alongside Kubernetes (K8s) cluster deployment, fault handling, and resource scheduling.
4. Utilize mainstream monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK) to quickly locate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure alerts.
5. Configure cloud security groups, firewalls, and vulnerability scans; execute data backup and disaster recovery strategies while adhering strictly to cyber security and data confidentiality standards.
6. Handle the daily operations and maintenance of Nginx web servers and MySQL databases; apply solid knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP protocols, VLAN, OSPF).

Requirements:

1. Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical operations and maintenance, with a strong preference for enterprise-level cloud platform O&M environments。
3. Deep knowledge of Linux OS administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE), including user/permission management, file systems, performance tuning, resource monitoring, and rapid troubleshooting.
4. Solid understanding of core network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP), combined with practical expertise in VPC architecture (subnetting, routing) and network security configurations (firewalls, security groups, VPNs, SSL certificates).
5. Proficiency in major public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, or Tencent Cloud), with hands-on experience managing core services across compute (VMs, containers, Serverless), storage (object, block, file), networking, and cloud databases will be an added advantage。
6. Professional proficiency in both Chinese and English to facilitate effective cross-border work communication and vendor alignment。
7. Uphold professional record with zero cyber security violations; strict adherence to data confidentiality, professional ethics, and risk management.
