Technician

Job Requirement

1. At least mechanical professional certificate and above or equivalent.
2. Must have at least 2 or more years of experience in Engineering, fresh graduate are also encouraged to apply
3. Experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
4. Experience on equipment maintenance.
5. Knowledge of appropriate tools usage.
6. Knowledge of servicing and repair of motor, gearboxes, pumps, fans and etc.
7. Knowledge of performing alignments, belt tensioning and etc.
8. Good Interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively.
9. Good communication skill
10. Motor bearing change and gearbox oil change skill.
11. Welding skill is an added advantage
12. Ability to perform task independently.
13. Ability to understand and contribute idea during discussion with superior and subordinates.
14. Ability to provide technical knowledge and experience on equipment maintenance.
15. Ability to learn new skill.
16. Maintain & troubleshoot plant control & automation system
17. Responsible for upkeeping & maintaining DB/electrical Panel, servo drive, inverters & process control instruments in tip top condition
18. Able to lead foreign worker to get the job done

Job Responsibility

1. Perform major, minor and condition-based maintenance jobs.
2. Service/repair of burners, blowers, pumps, geared motors and etc
3. Adjust alignment and tension of transmission systems.
4. DB and electrical Panel, servo drive and inverter clean up
5. Practice good 5S housekeeping in work place.
6. Make sure good arrangement and storage of tools and workbench.
7. Keeping track of required spare parts
8. Exercise and uphold safety during carrying out of maintenance activities.
9. Contribute idea for continuous improvement exercise.
10. Feedback to superior of existing system.
