Technician, Loading & Unloading

Role

1. To ensure environmental, health and safety rules and guidelines are adhered to and maintain high safety standard and a safe working environment.
2. To perform general field tasks in related to tank farm and product loading operations, such as piping line up, running pumps, changing filter bags, tanker loading, sample collection, etc.
3. To monitor and complete product loading process in safe and efficient manner.
4. To perform inter-tank product transfer or blending activities by following the instructions given.
5. To collect samples and send to lab as per requirement. In special circumstances additional sampling may be required.
6. To ensure SOP, WI and operational checklist are adhered to and properly recorded as per requirement.
7. To fill in and complete the required loading or shipping paperwork.
8. To report problems or changes in the loading condition to immediate superior and assist in the troubleshooting of tank farm or loading facility problems if any.
9. To perform tank dipping activities as per requirement or instruction given.
10. To provide concise and accurate information during shift handover meeting so that the next shift team can carry out their duty safety, efficiently and effectively.
11. To perform housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of plant area.
12. To ensure all activities are carried out with full compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, safety management system and any other requirements as stipulated in the system, by practicing them accordingly and ensure ISO procedures are updated and adhered to by regular checks.
13. To perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
14. The scope of authority shall refer to the relevant Top Glove work process procedures/instructions.

Job Requirements

1. Education Qualifications: Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma of Engineering or equivalent.
2. Language Bahasa Malaysia, English
3. Minimum 1 year of working experience in shift or manufacturing environment.
4. Relevant working experience in tank farm operations and unloading/loading facility would be advantageous.
5. Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).
6. Good knowledge of tank farm operations and unloading/loading facility.
7. Forklift driving skill or license will be an added advantage.
8. Pleasant personality and able to interact all levels of people.
9. Able to work in Banting, Selangor.
