The Patient Service Officer will be part of the Business Office, providing operational and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of day-to-day business processes. The role offers valuable hands-on exposure to billing operations, data management, system implementation, and departmental projects, while contributing to continuous process improvements.

This role provides practical exposure to end-to-end billing and operational workflows, with opportunities to develop an understanding of process controls, data accuracy, and operational governance. You will also gain hands-on experience in system implementation, change management, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and execution of billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Assist with billing data validation, reconciliation, and the resolution of discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for system implementation, enhancement, and change initiatives.
  • Maintain and archive documents accurately and systematically.
  • Perform day-to-day administrative and coordination activities to support business operations.
  • Assist with departmental projects and undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • GCE ‘N’ Level or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
  • Able to perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organisation.
  • Knowledge of billing and payment processes.
  • Familiar with insurance-related tasks such as LOG handling and payment refunds.
  • Comfortable managing phone and email communications professionally.
  • Able to navigate hospital systems and support transitions during system changes.
  • Adaptable, quick to learn, and able to adjust to new processes.
