Trainee Teacher

Full time attachment to one of our childcare centres under mentorship with a mentor teacher, the trainee teacher will be coached through the apprentice program and will be able to assume the role as a Childcare Teacher upon completion of the course.

Entry job requirements:

• Local Polytechnic Diploma and obtained a GCE O level credit in English (EL1) or a minimum band 6.5 in IELTS (Academics); OR
• Obtained a Degree with English as the medium of instruction from a state-recognised university OR
• 5 GCE O'level credits with a pass in English

Job responsibilities:

• Plan, supervised and implement the programme for the class in accordance with the centre’s policies and framework
• Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepares a developmental portfolio for each child
• Set up and create a stimulating and engaging pleasant learning environment that promotes self-directed learning
• Responsible for all aspects of classroom management and carrying out routine care duties to ensure the safety and hygiene of the children
• Work closely with the other teaching staff in the class in carrying out the duties
• Build and maintain a close partnership with parents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team

幼儿保育与教育专业文凭课程

招聘条件:

• “O” 水准5科及格,华文等级至少B4
• 持国外学历者,必须完成10年以上的正规教育,在国家考试中5课及格(包括华文)或等同证书

o *如果申请者的华文等级低于B4,必须考获HSK汉语水平考试 6级和HSK口试高级证书 。

Upon Completion of the course:

You will be conferred the Diploma in Early Childhood Education by recognised awarding institutions and will be qualified to teach Playgroup, Nursery, K1 and K2 children from 18 months to 6 years old.
