Treasury & Finance Analytics

Role Purpose

We are seeking an analytically strong Treasury Analyst with data science, automation, and finance capabilities to support Treasury and Finance through enhanced reporting, analytics, automation, forecasting, and data-driven decision support.

This role will focus on improving Treasury and Finance reporting efficiency, building dashboards, automating manual processes, supporting treasury risk analytics, and developing predictive models to strengthen liquidity, balance sheet, funding, and risk management.

The role will also provide analytical and operational support coverage during periods when the UK Treasury team is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Finance Analytics

• Analyse treasury, liquidity, funding, deposit, and balance sheet data
• Support forecasting of liquidity, funding requirements, and cashflows
• Perform trend analysis on deposits, funding costs, and treasury performance
• Support profitability analysis relating to treasury activities
• Assist with balance sheet and funding optimisation analysis

Treasury Risk Analytics

Support development and preparation of treasury risk reporting, including:

• Liquidity risk monitoring
• Funding maturity analysis
• Deposit concentration analysis
• FX exposure monitoring
• Interest rate risk analysis
• Internal treasury limit monitoring
• Stress testing and scenario modelling
• Treasury management information dashboards

Data Science / Automation

• Build automated reporting tools for Treasury and Finance
• Develop dashboards for Treasury, Finance, ALCO, and management reporting
• Reduce manual reporting and reconciliation effort through automation
• Develop predictive models using treasury and financial data
• Support behavioural analysis of deposits and funding patterns
• Build data models for treasury decision support

Data Management & Systems

• Extract, cleanse, validate, and structure data from multiple systems
• Improve data quality, consistency, and reporting integrity
• Support integration between treasury, finance, and operational data sources
• Work with Technology teams on automation and reporting enhancements

Business Continuity / UK Coverage Support

• Provide reporting and analytical support during UK non-business hours, leave periods, or team absence
• Support continuity of treasury reporting and monitoring activities

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve treasury reporting and analytical processes
• Support treasury transformation and efficiency initiatives
• Build scalable reporting and analytical tools

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Data Science
• Computer Science
• Statistics
• Mathematics
• Finance
• Economics
• Financial Engineering or related discipline

Experience

• 2–5 years relevant experience in data analytics, treasury analytics, banking analytics, finance analytics, or reporting automation
• Financial services / banking experience preferred
