Job Description:

Role Overview: The Head of Investor Relations at Carsome will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with the investment community, financial analysts, stakeholders and board of directors. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this strategic position is responsible for managing communication between Carsome and its investors, ensuring transparency, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Investor Communication:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy to effectively communicate Carsome's financial performance, business strategies, and objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the investment community, responding to inquiries, and providing timely and accurate information to investors.

2. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging to the investor community.
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and other materials for earnings calls, investor meetings, and conferences.

3. Market Intelligence:

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant economic developments to provide valuable insights to investors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze changes in Carsome's valuation and make recommendations for improvement.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, disclosure, and communications with the investment community.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address regulatory matters and updates.

5. Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development of Carsome's overall strategic plan, providing insights on investor perspectives and expectations.
• Participate in key decision-making processes, especially those with potential impact on investor relations.

6. Events and Conferences:

• Coordinate and represent Carsome at investor conferences, roadshows, and other events to enhance the company's visibility and credibility in the investment community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Proven experience in startup industry, investor relations, financial analysis, or related roles in a publicly traded company or financial institution.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
