Summary

Responsible for welding and fitting metal components to assemble and maintain machinery, equipment, and structural forms within the facility. This role is to ensure the proper functioning of various systems and contributes to the overall maintenance and safety of the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and fitting works for metal structures, equipment, and piping.
• Carry out repairs, modifications, and maintenance of metal components as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications before carrying out work.
• Inspect welded joints and completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any defects or equipment issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or fitting works.
• Proficient in common welding techniques (e.g., SMAW, MIG, TIG) and the use of fabrication tools.
