Job Summary

You will lead workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance on construction sites, conducting inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure adherence to MOM, NEA, and project standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance on construction sites to meet regulatory and project standards
  • Conduct thorough site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
  • Perform detailed risk assessments to evaluate potential safety and environmental impacts and recommend preventive measures
  • Investigate incidents promptly to determine root causes and develop corrective and preventive action plans
  • Deliver clear and engaging safety briefings to site personnel to promote awareness and compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and environmental records for audit and reporting purposes
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure coordinated safety management and compliance

Required competencies and certifications

  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
  • Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with National Environment Agency (NEA)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience managing safety and environmental compliance on Singapore construction projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience working on government or industrial construction projects
  • Proficient communication and report-writing skills to document safety findings and recommendations clearly
