Job Description:

The Center Officer, SP Operations is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and operational activities to ensure efficient shipment processing, accurate shipment tracking, and excellent customer service. The role involves monitoring shipment status, following up on delivery performance, managing shipment exceptions, maintaining operational records, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily warehouse operations, including shipment processing, scanning, tracking, and shipment verification activities.
  • Manage shipment exceptions, returns (RTS), abandoned shipments, Cash-on-Delivery (COD) cases, and special delivery requests in accordance with company procedures.
  • Operate and maintain shipment information in operational systems such as ERA, ERN, and other relevant platforms, including updating operational logs and exception records.
  • Perform open inspections, warehouse scans, and ensure compliance with operational procedures for high-value and sensitive/premier shipments.
  • Coordinate with customers, service partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure service excellence.
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports, including Warehouse Reports, Investigation Reports (DIR/DIF), inventory records, and other operational documentation.
  • Support customer self-collection activities and respond to delivery-related inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field, with a strong interest in pursuing further education through part-time studies for professional and career development.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, courier, transportation, warehouse operations, or a related operational environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Other Requirements

  • Possess own transportation.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
  • Ability to perform multiple operational functions and adapt to role rotations within the department as required to support operational continuity and workforce flexibility.
  • Physically fit to support operational and warehouse-related activities when necessary.
