About the role
Engineer / Executive, Technology Innovation (Automation) role focused on developing, improving, and maintaining automation systems involving computer vision, robotic arms, AMR, ROS-based robotics, and machine integration. This position involves designing and implementing computer vision applications for inspection, detection, measurement, localization, object recognition, and factory automation use cases, as well as supporting robotic arm application development and fleet management systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and maintain automation systems involving computer vision, robotic arms, AMR, ROS-based robotics, and machine integration.
- Design and implement computer vision application for inspection, detection, measurement, localization, object recognition, and factory automation use cases using classical vision tools such as OpenCV, Cognex VisionPro, HIK Vision Master, and AI Vision models such as YOLO, CNN-based models, transformer-based models, or locally deployed models through Ollama.
- Support robotic arm application development, including machine interfacing, motion control, process automation, and integration with production equipment.
- Develop and support AMR-related functions such as robot task handling, communication, navigation support, mapping integration, and factory operation deployment.
- Design, improve, and maintain fleet management systems using React frontend, ASP Core backend, SQL database, and API-based communication.
- Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, UI Modules, database structures, and integration services for automation and robotics platforms.
- Integrate machines, robots, IoT devices, MES, WMS, ERP, databases, and other factory systems using APIs and industrial communication protocols.
- Implement communication between automation systems using MQTT, DDS, SQL, REST API, and related integration methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, IT, vendors, and end users, to define requirements and deploy digital automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to robot communication, machine connectivity, system integration, database exchange, API performance, and automation system reliability.
About you
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficient in Python, C++, C#, JavaScript or MSSQL.
- Good oral and written communication skills.

- Resourceful and creative.
- Added advantage with knowledge/experience (>1 year) in robotic arm programming, robot control, PLC integrating, industrial camera systems, or motion control systems.
- Added advantage with knowledge/experience (>1 year) in ROS/ROS2 development, AMR Integration, autonomous robot deployment, or multi-robot coordination.
- Added advantage with knowledge of AI Vision implementation such as YOLO, CNN-based models, transformer-based vision models, VLM, or local model deployment using Ollama.
- Added advantage with experience in integrating factory systems such as MES, WMS, ERP, IoT platforms, smart storage, or facility automation systems.
