Executive/ Senior Executive, Fuel (Global HQ)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage effective and efficient marine fuel procurement for ONE’s operating container vessels per assigned ports / services
• Handle engagement of ONE’s operating vessels’ marine fuel requirements as assigned
• Handle procurement of marine fuel by negotiating with suppliers, such as oil majors, refineries, independent suppliers, and traders
• Manage and resolve issues relating to quality and quantity of marine fuel, and follow up with claims resolutions
• Manage marine fuel-related services providers such as surveyors and lab services
• Take on related or ad hoc tasks as assigned by Fuel or Product & Network

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines
• Bunker procurement experience with strong negotiation skills
• Bunker industry knowledge with fuel specification knowledge
• Shipping experience, preferably in container shipping
• Bunkering operation or vessel operation experiences preferred
• Prior experience handling invoices and payment
• Strong communication skills in English and timely reporting/information sharing skills
