Intern, Content Creator

OSK Group is seeking a motivated and capable Intern to join our Group Corporate Communications team in Malaysia. This role offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to the communications functions of a major conglomerate, spanning internal engagement, brand management, and corporate reporting.

We are looking for a candidate with an exceptional command of English and a strong foundation in communication principles, complemented by an interest in modern digital content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing content for internal campaigns, social media, and events
• Assisting in preparing communication materials for key initiatives
• Supporting media monitoring and tracking coverage
• Assisting in preparing communication materials for key initiatives
• Collaborating with teams across the Group to ensure clear and consistent messaging

The Academic Bit

Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields:

• Mass Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
• English for Professional Communication or Applied Linguistics.
• Digital Marketing, Multimedia Design, or Events Management.

Requirements & Competencies

• Language Proficiency: An excellent command of written and spoken English is essential. You should be adept at drafting professional copy and possess a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Multilingual Advantage: Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or another local language (written and spoken) is a significant advantage for stakeholder engagement and content translation.
• Digital Literacy: A strong understanding of social media platforms and digital trends. You should be comfortable capturing images and video content and performing basic editing.
• Communication Foundation: A solid grasp of communication theory and its practical application within a corporate environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Teams. Familiarity with design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Canva, CapCut) is an advantage.
• Availability: Able to commit to a minimum internship period of 3 months.
