INTERNSHIP - ASSISTANT TEACHER

What you'll do:

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of toddlers.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom and during outdoor play.
• Foster positive interactions with toddlers through play, reading, and structured activities, encouraging their curiosity and learning.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, toileting, and napping, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
• Help maintain a tidy and organized classroom, setting up materials and activities as needed.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

Qualification:

• Diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education or child development preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
