Junior Project Planner

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior Project Planner to join the Gadang Group of Companies' team in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. As a Project Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the company's construction projects through effective project planning and scheduling.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules to track progress and meet key milestones
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient resource allocation
• Providing regular updates to project stakeholders on the status of the project
• Continuously optimising project plans to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ensuring compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction / Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience as a Project Planner within the construction industry
• Must be proficient in Primavera P6, with strong experience in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think critically
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting to provide meaningful insights to stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Possess own transportation and be willing to work at our site office in Bukit Tinggi area.
