Maxis is accelerating its adoption of AI, automation and modern digital platforms across the business. This role exists to turn these opportunities into scalable, secure and commercially meaningful solutions.

The Lead Solutions Architect will connect business needs with product, engineering, data and enterprise architecture, designing solutions that can move from concept to production. A key focus is to go beyond traditional system integration and reimagine customer and business workflows using AI-native approaches, including GenAI, AI agents, RAG, enterprise knowledge platforms and intelligent automation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of digital, customer experience and AI solutions from concept through to production.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable technical architectures.
• Design AI-powered solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, enterprise copilots, AI search and intelligent automation.
• Identify opportunities to redesign business and customer workflows using AI-native approaches, rather than simply automating existing processes.
• Design API-first, cloud-native and event-driven architectures across internal platforms, digital channels and partner ecosystems.
• Define solution blueprints, process flows, integration designs, data flows and deployment architectures.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, data teams, enterprise architects and external vendors to bring solutions into production.
• Provide architecture guidance throughout the SDLC and ensure solutions meet requirements for security, governance, scalability, reliability and operational supportability.
• Evaluate emerging AI, cloud and digital technologies and recommend solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, digital delivery or enterprise integration.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale digital platforms and customer-facing applications.
• Demonstrated experience designing or implementing AI-powered solutions, such as Generative AI, LLM applications, AI agents, RAG, copilots or intelligent automation.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on understanding of technologies such as Java, Node.js or Python, and API-based architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Ability to bridge business objectives and technical implementation, with strong stakeholder management across business and technology teams.
• Good understanding of AI security, governance, responsible AI and human-in-the-loop principles.
• Experience with API management, integration platforms, containers, CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Telecommunications or digital industry experience is an advantage, particularly exposure to CRM, customer engagement platforms, OSS/BSS or digital channels.
