Manager, ADC APAC Business Operations Supply Chain & Logistics

The Opportunity

As the Manager, ADC APAC Business Operations Supply Chain & Logistics, you will create, enhance and standardize ADC Asia Pacific (APAC) Ecommerce & B2B Supply Chain Infrastructure and lead its end-to-end Supply Chain operations, with full accountability for supply chain performance, inventory, sales and operations planning, and third-party logistics execution. This role will drive operational excellence, enable long-term growth and scale and deliver end-to-end effectiveness of our APAC Supply Chain.

Primary Objective

• Support commercial strategy and expansion by designing, developing, optimizing and standardizing existing and new B2B and B2C ADC supply chain distribution channels [e.g. distributors, webshop etc.] across APAC
• Create ecommerce supply chain infrastructure required to support B2C webshop sales for selected markets
• Optimize and harmonize B2B supply chain infrastructure incl systems, processes and reporting
• Establish and drive strategic partnerships with third-party logistics and SCM service providers to achieve commercial goals by initiating continuous improvement mechanisms and standard governance routines
• Oversee supply planning and inventory mgmt, identify and mitigate supply risks with stakeholders
• Lead in- & outbound logistics, NPI support / labeling review, ownership of warehouse and related contracts
• Own order mgmt processes across Asia, such as customer orders, samples, FOC, warranty, and returns
• Oversee APAC eCommerce and drive strategic crossfunctional alignment, including Commercial, Marketing, IT and Finance
• Enhance performance monitoring mechanism across multiple business models in APAC markets
• Act as subject matter expert (SME) on Customs and Trade Compliance (C&TC)
• Drive executive Sales & Operations Planning by aligning demand, supply, and financial targets, including liaison between Finance and Customer Experience
• Optimize supply chain processes such as securing goods availability and supporting product launches
• Drive daily operational Excellence of third-party supply chain & logistic providers to achieve commercial goals and enhance customer experience
• Initiate supply chain projects to drive operation excellence and enhance customer satisfaction across APAC
• Steer data-driven decision-making process by leveraging dashboards and performance metrics to manage service, costs, and risks
• Act as ADC APAC Division Security Coordinator for SAP, maintaining segregation of duties, especially between OTC, SCM, and PTP
• Supervise and develop a direct team of Supply Chain planners across Asia Pacific, as well as indirect team of Order Entry across Asia Pacific
• This role will be part of the International Business Operations team and work closely with the ADC APAC Demand Planning organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of end-to-end supply chain experience, with leadership experience.
• Strong background and track record in planning, supply chain operations, supply chain network design and standardization, logistics partner management; experience in both B2B and B2C is a plus.
• Pioneering and hands-on leadership style, able to cope with fast-paced environments and dynamic business needs while driving large-scale change in support of long-term cross-functional strategies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, project and operations management skills.
• Proven track record in stakeholder and supplier management/governance expertise.
• Experience within FMCG, healthcare, e-commerce or similar industries.
• Warehouse implementation and IT integration expertise.
• Travel up to 40%.
