RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source for and acts as business owner and project manager for improvement projects identified. Projects may not be entirely procurement in nature but would instead encompass end-to-end processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Liaise/brainstorm/partner with stakeholders and Office of Improvement to find opportunities and actualize process optimization.
- System development, implementation and act as the key liaison with system (Student Hiring System) vendor.
- Develop and maintain SOP for work-on-campus hiring and payment process
- Develop system guide and FAQs for users.
- System onboard
- Support in smooth functioning of the system.
- Updating and maintenance of system. Support any day-to-day administration of system.
- Perform account setup, granting administrative, and approval rights.
- Work with departments and IT to curate new workflow (including approval) into the system.
- Educate/train users on the new system through briefing, training and consultation sessions.
- Reply to any queries on the system from stakeholders.
- Technology and Web Support
- Escalate any system issues to IT/vendor for quick resolution.
- Collect requirements on any changes in system needed to meet the guidelines of Work on Campus (WOC) scheme
- Support administration of SMU WOC Scheme
- Update any changes in scheme on WOC portal.
- Support in extracting reports on university wide on-campus work activities from system to report to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ of relevant work experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
- Experience in creating databases and report/dashboards.
- Experience of working with enterprise system desirable.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to lead projects, work independently but also a team player.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
