Manufacturing Engineer (Mechanical / Process)

There are few vacancies available for Engineering Positions:
Engineer [NPI / Process]
- Conduct/Study DFM, process capability study for product design and requirement.
- Design & develop fixture for existing/new product and improvement project.
- Ensure to resolve any technical issues arise during NPI (New Product Introduction) / FA (First Article) preparation stage.
- Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.
- Utilizes process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies.
- Conduct DOE test, evaluate the factor that control the value of a parameter.
- Develop work instructions (WI) for new process and update WI for process improvement.
Tooling & Fixture Design Engineer
- Design & develop new fixture/tooling for existing or new customer within schedule.
- Review part drawings and customer correspondence to determine the requirements for a part and develop a manufacturing process for the most cost-effective manufacturing methods.
- Sketching initial design ideas.
- Testing the design concept by computerized modelling or physical hands-on testing of models.
- Ensure properly handover tools and fixture to relevant process owner an accordingly buyoff procedures.
Welding Process Engineer
- Provide welding engineering support to Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to fabricate equipment in accordance with all applicable code and customer requirements.
- Conduct DFM analyzing engineering design for welding requirements and process capabilities.
- Evaluates new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.
- Responsible for new welding procedure specification (WPS) development and welder qualification test (WQT) from time to time.
- Responsible to manage productivity improvement activities (manual welding process conversion to automated welding).
- CSWIP 3.1 welding inspector qualification will be advantageous.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- Proficiency with CAD or SolidWorks.
- Experience in Sheet Metal fabrication & CNC machining industries.
