execution-focused product team — and we are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate
about insurance and financial products to join us.
The Role
As Product Manager for Insurance & Financial Products, you will own the end-to-end product
strategy, development, and execution for Carsome Capital's insurance offerings — from building a
unified multi-carrier insurance experience and automating the quotation journey, to leveraging AI
and contextual data signals to deliver smarter, more personalised coverage recommendations. You
will work closely with internal engineering and marketing/sales teams to bring customer-centric
products to market at scale.
This role sits at the heart of Carsome Capital's growth and requires someone who can blend deep
insurance domain expertise with strong product craft, data-driven thinking, and the ability to thrive
in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance Product
Define and own the product roadmap for motor insurance, comprehensive coverage, and
value-added protection products across the Carsome platform.

Build and scale a multi-insurer product distribution capability — onboarding, integrating, and
managing multiple insurance provider APIs to surface competitive coverage options to
customers within a single, unified experience.

Drive the automation of the insurance quotation journey end-to-end: eliminating manual
touchpoints, reducing time-to-quote, and enabling real-time pricing comparisons across
carriers — with the goal of a fully self-serve, zero-drop-off flow.

Lead the development of AI-powered quotation intelligence: leverage contextual signals such
as user location, regional weather patterns, flood risk zones, and historical claims data to
generate personalised coverage recommendations that are timely, relevant, and data-backed.

Work directly with insurance partners, underwriters, and actuaries to structure product terms,
coverage bundles, and pricing logic that are competitive, compliant, and profitable across
integrated carrier offerings.

Own the full leads-to-conversion funnel for insurance products — tracking performance across
awareness, quote initiation, comparison, bind, and post-purchase stages to identify drop-offs
and drive continuous optimisation. -
Champion a seamless, digital-first insurance purchase and claims experience within the
Carsome app and web platform — from intelligent product recommendations through to policy
issuance and renewal nudges.
Financing Product
Support the financing product team in embedding loan application flows, credit decisioning UX,
and repayment features into the customer journey.

Collaborate on bundled insurance + financing propositions that improve conversion and
average order value.
What You Bring
Must-Have
-2+ years in product management, with at least 1 year in insurance or insurtech
- Proven ability to manage multiple insurer/partner relationships and integrate third-party APIs into consumer-facing product flows
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to align engineering, data science, and commercial stakeholders behind a shared vision
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in automotive, mobility, or marketplace platforms
- Exposure to consumer lending or auto financing
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia in addition to English
