Program (project) Manager

Job description:

• Guide New Product Introduction (NPI) samples builds, track timelines, ensure on-time delivery for samples builds timelines and and meet projects milestones.
• Interact with customers and the operations team on the status of all new product builds with the necessary Gantt charts and Project management progress update.
• Organize and drive internal cross division teams (NPI, Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing and Logistic), to plan and execute actions to meet NPI & MP delivery dates, engineering changes and customers inquiries and requests.
• Manage MP builds, received forecast & PO, distribute internally, counter check buyers purchase materials accordingly, work with planner to plan production for on time shipment. Whenever there are forecast changes, coordinate with operations team to meet the changes or propose a new shipment plans to customers.
• Participate in the review of raw materials readiness and quality status with key suppliers together with the relevant operations support team for all items that are critical to supply chain.
• Ensure close follow through with all customers' communication for addressing any customers' queries and expectations.
• Act as window of communication between customers and internal teams in term of Project status update, materials shortages, production plans, involve in quality issue status update, customer change request & etc.
• Work with BD team whenever there are tooling cost, engineering changes cost, expedite cost and etc. and convey the quotations to customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese language
• Excellence problem solving ability.
• Good communication and people interaction skills.
• Basic knowledge of PCBA and modules manufacturing processes are added point
• Must be able to work in Penang.
