A leading global financial institution is seeking a Vice President Foreign Exchange Options Structuring to drive the growth of its APAC FX Options franchise, with a strategic ambition to achieve USD 10 million in annualised revenue. - Take ownership of the APAC FX Options franchise with direct accountability for achieving ambitious revenue targets over five years, focusing on both client origination and product development.
- Work closely with corporate, institutional and financial-institution clients across APAC, as well as internal teams spanning Sales, Trading, Quantitative Analytics, Compliance and Technology.

What you'll do:
As Vice President Foreign Exchange Options Structuring based in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the APAC FX Options franchise. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve originating new business opportunities by connecting with corporate and institutional clients throughout Asia Pacific. You will design bespoke solutions using vanilla products as well as advanced structures such as TARFs and Lookback Options. By collaborating with Sales teams across multiple markets—including Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India—you will uplift their capabilities through education sessions and hands-on coaching. You will also work closely with Trading teams to ensure competitive pricing strategies that deliver risk-adjusted returns. Your ability to manage complex exposures will be crucial in converting market views into commercially compelling solutions for clients. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail in documentation and booking outcomes while maintaining high control standards. You will regularly track metrics such as client activity levels, product penetration rates and revenue contributions from various markets. Additionally, you will influence cross-functional teams including Product Governance, Compliance and Technology to drive seamless execution of transactions. Your commercial judgement will guide prioritisation decisions for client engagement and franchise investment while ensuring regulatory compliance across borders.
- Drive the growth of the APAC FX Options franchise by originating new business, engaging directly with clients and developing tailored product solutions.
- Monitor progress against revenue targets including FX Options Markup and Sales Credit Revenue, ensuring alignment with the five-year ambition of USD 10 million annualised revenue.
- Expand the client base by increasing the number of active FX Options clients and those generating substantial annual revenues through repeat business and restructuring activity.
- Lead discussions on options products independently, uplifting sales capability across the region while providing education and guidance to Sales teams.
- Develop trade ideas with measurable commercial impact, promoting adoption of approved new TARF structures and Lookback Options among eligible investors.
- Ensure pricing competitiveness, risk-adjusted returns and execution efficiency by collaborating closely with Trading teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India.
- Maintain high standards of control, suitability, documentation, conduct and booking outcomes in all transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
- Build strong external relationships with regional treasury centres, CFOs, treasurers and senior decision-makers as well as internal partnerships with Global Markets teams.
- Coordinate pipeline management including conversion rates and restructuring activity while tracking product penetration across local platforms.
- Influence Product Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal Operations and Technology teams without formal authority to ensure seamless execution.
What you bring:
To excel as Vice President Foreign Exchange Options Structuring you will bring extensive experience in structuring complex FX Option products for APAC clients. Your background should include at least ten years in similar roles within Global Markets where you have demonstrated success generating options revenue developing innovative products creating impactful trade ideas coaching Sales teams executing multi-jurisdictional transactions. Your technical proficiency spans vanilla options TARFs Lookback structures payoff design pricing drivers risk sensitivities scenario modelling quantitative analytics—all complemented by strong interpersonal skills that enable you to explain intricate concepts clearly both internally externally. You possess a franchise-building mindset characterised by meticulous attention to detail high control standards personal accountability for outcomes. Your ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders ensures smooth execution even when formal authority is absent. A degree in Finance Economics Mathematics Engineering or related field is essential together with any regulatory licences required for employment in Singapore. Your comprehensive understanding of APAC market practices regulatory frameworks client needs positions you as a trusted advisor capable of delivering commercially compelling solutions tailored for each jurisdiction.
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience in banking industry
- Minimum 5 years of direct client-facing FX experience, with a proven ability to originate and develop FX Options business, identify treasury needs, deliver tailored solutions and convert opportunities into measurable revenue or repeat business across APAC
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline, combined with proven business expertise in vanilla options, Exotic Options, restructuring, payoff design, pricing, valuation and risk sensitivities.
- Deep expertise in FX Options structuring including vanilla products, TARFs, Lookback Options as well as advanced payoff design techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build an options franchise through direct client origination, sales education initiatives and disciplined execution across multiple markets.
- Strong commercial judgement with proven ownership of regional revenue outcomes alongside client prioritisation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of APAC client needs coupled with familiarity with local market practices and cross-border regulatory considerations.
- Ability to convert complex exposures into clear executable solutions that are suitable for diverse client profiles.
- Exceptional quantitative skills including scenario-modelling capabilities paired with effective presentation abilities for explaining risk profiles.
