RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
  • Project coordination and management.
  • Scheduling visits to participants’ homes/deployment sites.
  • Configuration, deployment and maintenance of sensor networks and Internet of Things (IOT) system for in -home sensing of human behaviour and activities.
  • Documentation and preparation of reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or any related disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare related projects and subject management is preferred but not compulsory.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Proficient in spoken English, with the ability to communicate in Mandarin being an advantage as the successful candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge/proficiency in hardware sensors and IOT/cloud computing.
  • Good writing and documentation.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
