RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
• Designing a robust verifiable distributed aggregation function against malicious stakeholders.
• Extending the robust design to additionally support differential privacy.
• Implementing a proof-of-concept prototype of the system.
• Performing security and efficiency analysis for the developed system.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines with particular focus on privacy-enhancing technologies.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in cryptography and differential privacy.
• Proficiency in cryptographic scheme implementation is required.
• Proven track record and research experience in privacy-enhancing technologies.
• Excellent working knowledge of multi-party computation and differential privacy.
• Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
• Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
• Applicants with research publications in top cybersecurity conferences will be advantageous.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
