Huawei is a leading global provider of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions. We are expanding our Data Center Group are looking for experienced professionals to join our telecom engineering, delivery, and operations teams.

Location: Required 90% travelling oversea assignment in Asia Pacific Regional

Job Title: Data Center Senior Building Information Modelling Manager

Responsibilities

-Lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of BIM activities across multidisciplinary engineering projects.

  • Develop, maintain, and review BIM models, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements and BIM standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve design and model coordination issues.
  • Perform model reviews, quality assurance checks, and recommend process improvements to enhance project delivery.
  • Manage complex modeling and drafting tasks independently while providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM modeling, coordination, and project delivery within engineering, infrastructure, or construction environments.
  • Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical services design, with the ability to interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard BIM software.
  • Experience in BIM automation, scripting, or programming languages such as Python, Dynamo, Java, C#, or C++ is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Data Center Technical Director (TD)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the technical team across multiple countries data center projects, ensuring successful technical delivery.
  • Review solution architecture designs from the Solutions Architect to ensure alignment with project goals and delivery timelines.
  • Present technical data center solutions to clients and negotiate data center project terms using strong communication and sales skills.
  • Conduct client requirement surveys and analysis to develop effective data center facility solutions.
  • Identify key delivery activities, customize project solutions, and maintain orderly and controlled execution.
  • Manage technical risks and perform cost analysis for construction and manpower resources.
  • Apply deep knowledge of data center industry standards (TIA942, BICSI, IEC61439, IEEE493, BS 7671) to guide project design and delivery.
  • Manage data center facility design, including electrical, Mechanical Ventilation and Air Conditioning system (MVAC system), Extra-Low Voltage system (ELV system), fire suppression & detection system, and civil works.
  • Evaluate and select key equipment such as Diesel Generators, High-Voltage/Low-Voltage Panels, Transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Batteries, Power Distribution Units (PDU), Busway, and Cables.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data center integration or turnkey solutions.
  • Experience with large-scale data centers 1MegaWatt (1MW) in consulting, design, or project management is highly valued.
  • Professional in AutoCAD 2019/Revit and Microsoft Project etc.
  • Professional certifications (preferred): Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) by UPTIME Institute or Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) by EXIN EPI.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, adaptable to challenges and pressure.
  • Open-minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Title: Data Center Facility Solution Architect (SA)

Responsibilities

-Serve as the main technical owner during pre-bidding, bidding, and commercial solution implementation phases.

  • Engage with customers to understand their requirements, share industry trends, and recommend suitable data center solutions and models。
  • Present technical data center solutions to clients and negotiate data center project terms using strong communication and sales skills.
  • Design end-to-end data center facility solutions, covering electrical, fire fighting system, heating ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC), and civil works - including load calculation, technical route selection, system design, budget proposals, and design drawings.
  • Work with subcontractors to clarify scope of work (SOW) and guide to produce shop drawings.
  • Identify and manage technical risks, and perform cost analysis for construction and manpower.
  • Apply deep knowledge of data center industry standards (TIA942, BICSI, IEC61439, IEEE493, BS 7671) to guide project design and delivery.
  • Evaluate and select key equipment such as Diesel Generators, High-Voltage/Low-Voltage Panels, Transformers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Static Transfer Switches (STS), Uninterruptible Power Supplies(UPS), rectifiers, batteries, Power Distribution Units (PDU), busways, and cables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Building Service, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in data center integration or turnkey solutions.
  • Familiar with the data center bidding process, relevant standards, design principles, project management, and system integration testing such as Tier Certification of Constructed Facility.
  • Experience with large-scale data centers above 1MegaWatt (1MW) in consulting, design, or project management is highly valued.
  • Professional in AutoCAD 2019/Revit and Microsoft Project etc.
  • Professional certifications (preferred): Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) by UPTIME Institute or Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) by EXIN EPI.
