Role Positioning:

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Internal Communications owns and drives clear, accurate, and engaging internal communications across the Group. Operating as a meticulous, high-touch comms lead, this role serves as the primary communications partner for corporate support functions and leads the community management, digital strategy, and platform ownership for internal communications and channels.

What will you own:

  1. High-Precision Documentation & Executive Communications
  • Lead the drafting, reviewing, and proofreading of formal internal communications, executive memos, corporate announcements, and agreements with zero error tolerance.
  • Uphold editorial governance to ensure all messaging strictly adheres to company guidelines, brand tone, compliance, and formatting standards.
  • Synthesise complex management updates and corporate policies into clear, digestible employee communications.
  1. Strategic Stakeholder Comms Partnership
  • Serve as the lead communications partner across corporate support functions, proactively consulting with business partners to convert key initiatives, programs, and updates into structured comms plans.
  • Develop and manage consistent, recurring integrated comms calendars covering employee engagement, sustainability initiatives, and corporate announcements.
  • Oversee the internal comms strategy and execution for major corporate events (e.g., Group Townhalls).
  1. Internal Community & Platform Leadership
  • Own the administration, content strategy, and community growth for internal digital touchpoints, including newsletters and internal social media/engagement platforms.
  • Drive proactive employee engagement initiatives and monthly content plans, transitioning internal platforms from static announcements into active digital employee communities.
  • Analyse platform analytics and engagement metrics to evaluate performance, evaluate campaign reach, and continuously refine content strategies.
  1. Operational & Execution Support
  • Formulate actionable implementation plans for campaign rollouts across internal channels.
  • Manage end-to-end approval workflows and maintain strict delivery timelines prior to content dissemination.
  • Act as primary Website Liaison, overseeing content updates and maintenance across various GCC-supported Business Unit (BU) websites.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English Literature, Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent command of written English with precise proofreading and editing skills. Basic knowledge or working familiarity with WordPress / website maintenance and M365 engagement tools is advantageous.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail, self-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable advising and interfacing directly with senior stakeholders without requiring heavy day-to-day management oversight.

  • Campaign Execution: Successful end-to-end strategy-to-execution delivery on Business Unit (BU) collaborations and internal initiatives.
