Senior Java Developer, Unified Customer Onboarding

Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable and secure enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Enhance existing systems by identifying improvements and resolving defects.
• Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture.
• Contribute to system design focusing on scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Produce design documents, sequence diagrams and API specifications when required.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLabCI, GitHub Actions).
• Implement automated tests (unit, integration, performance).
• Support deployment activities across environments.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any technology related field is desired.
• Min 3 to 5 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Familiar with JPA/Hibernate and relational databases (e.g.Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Good understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is desired.
• Have exposure with messaging and streaming platforms (e.g.Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in Git, Maven/Gradle, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of secure coding and application security principles (OWASP).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
