Join our 24-Hour Urgent Care Centre as a Staff Nurse, delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment — from clinical assessment and emergency response to administrative and billing support.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical & emergency care – Perform patient triage, conduct nursing assessments, deliver direct care for acute non-life-threatening conditions, assist physicians with procedures (wound care, suturing, ECGs, IV therapy), and participate in emergency response and resuscitation as needed.
  • Diagnostic support & medication management – Perform ECGs, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing; administer medications safely, monitor for adverse reactions, and conduct medication reconciliation.
  • Administrative, billing & documentation – Verify patient registration, ensure accurate documentation to support billing/charge capture, assist with discharge processing, and complete administrative forms (insurance claims, referrals, lab/radiology requests).
  • Patient flow, safety & communication – Prioritize care by clinical acuity, uphold patient safety and confidentiality, communicate effectively with the care team, and provide patient/caregiver education on treatment and discharge.
  • Equipment, stock & infection control – Ensure clinical equipment readiness, maintain a clean environment, conduct stock checks of medications/supplies, and adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols.
  • Quality & compliance support – Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, incident reporting, and support medical report preparation for audits/insurance claims.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing or BSc (Nursing) from a recognized institution
  • Current registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid practising certificate with valid BCLS certification
  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, ideally with exposure to acute/episodic conditions and emergency responsesupport.
  • ACLS certification or urgent care–related certifications (e.g. ENCC, ATNCC) an advantage.
  • Strong clinical judgement in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Competence in clinical assessment, monitoring, and documentation
  • Working knowledge of patient flow and discharge planning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • High professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation/billing systems in a private healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Able and willing to work on rotating shifts (including overnight shifts), weekends, and public holidays.
