Job Summary
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities for a fast-track data center fit-out project with dual contractor involvement across two Data Center Halls (DCHs). Working under the General Contractor (GC), the supervisor will ensure that site execution aligns with the approved fit-out plan, supports seamless coordination between contractors, and maintains high standards of safety, quality, and progress.
This role demands strong leadership, proactive coordination, and hands-on involvement to manage area allocation, enforce site arrangements, track progress, and resolve interface issues in real-time. The supervisor acts as the key liaison between the GC and subcontractors, ensuring timely and efficient execution of works to meet client expectations, particularly under tight timelines and complex multi-party operations.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Daily Site Coordination
- Manage and coordinate daily site activities across both Data Center Halls (DCHs).
- Ensure smooth interface and area-sharing between the two subcontractors working simultaneously.

Execution Oversight
- Supervise and ensure execution of the approved fit-out plan, targeting at least 80% physical completion in line with the client’s expectations.
- Monitor site progress and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
3.
Progress Tracking and Reporting
- Track and document daily work progress from both the General Contractor and subcontractors.
- Provide daily updates to the project team and escalate any delays or issues promptly.
4.
Site Arrangement and Area Management
- Enforce daily site arrangements to optimize workspace usage and reduce clashes or rework.
- Coordinate access control, material movement, and activity zoning across shared workspaces.
5.
Communication and Issue Resolution
- Act as the main point of contact on-site for operational coordination between GC, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
6.
Compliance and Safety Monitoring
- Ensure that all site activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Support implementation of safety initiatives and conduct regular checks to maintain site discipline.
7.
Client and Stakeholder Interface
- Represent the GC during site walkdowns and inspections by client representatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications – Site Supervisor
1.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent technical discipline).
2.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience, preferably in data center, industrial, or fast-track fit-out projects.
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing works in congested, multi-stakeholder environments.
3.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of MEP fit-out sequencing, construction methods, and execution workflows.
- Familiarity with daily site coordination, area control, and work planning processes.
4.
Communication & Leadership
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead coordination and resolve site-level issues.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with overall project goals and timelines.
5.
Digital Tools & Reporting
- Proficient in basic reporting tools (e.g., MS Excel, Google Sheets/Forms).
- Experience with ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud) and BIM coordination is an added advantage.
- Training will be provided for ACC/BIM if not previously used.
6.
Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Construction Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certificate or equivalent.
- Additional safety certifications such as First Aid, Work at Height, or Confined Space are beneficial.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience
Minimum Experience:
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, provided they show a strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take ownership of on-site responsibilities.
- Candidates with up to 5 years of experience in construction, M&E supervision, or fit-out projects will be given preference.
- Prior exposure to data centers, industrial projects, or fast-track environments is an added advantage but not mandatory.
