Toxic Industrial Waste Field Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of field technicians engaged in the collection, transportation, and disposal of toxic industrial waste materials.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards related to the handling and disposal of toxic industrial waste.
- Coordinate field operations, including scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor field technicians/machine operators on proper handling procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Prepare and file safety and health documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Environmental Health and Safety department, to develop and implement waste management strategies and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including waste manifests, reports, and records of waste disposal activities.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years relevant experience in toxic industrial waste industry
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to hazardous waste management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
