Toxic Industrial Waste Field Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of field technicians engaged in the collection, transportation, and disposal of toxic industrial waste materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards related to the handling and disposal of toxic industrial waste.
  • Coordinate field operations, including scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor field technicians/machine operators on proper handling procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Prepare and file safety and health documents.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Environmental Health and Safety department, to develop and implement waste management strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including waste manifests, reports, and records of waste disposal activities.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years relevant experience in toxic industrial waste industry
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to hazardous waste management.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
